Eddy Clarkson
My goal for 2018 is to compete (try and win) in my age group 18-24 at Copenhagen Ironman. I started participating in Ironman Triathlons to raise money for Teenage Cancer Trust, a charity that helped me during my battle against leukaemia in 2015. I have created a social platform called chemo2cardio explaining my journey from being diagnosed with cancer to competing in one of the worlds toughest events. Along with competing I am trying to spread awareness of cancer in young adults but also to give inspiration to those currently suffering from serious illness.
You can find out more about my journey to an Ironman and beyond here - http://www.chemo2cardio.com
